Parallels Desktop UI performance and font issues. Fixed in 15.0.0 ( Download ) Open VM configuration > Hardware > Sound & Camera > disable Camera sharing and change Microphone option to Disabled. I updated to Monterey yesterday (I waited so long bcs of the issue with USB hubs not working properly as far as the news about the version go) and the issue albeit better, didn’t disappear completely - it still shits itself to the point the rainbow circle of death comes up and I have to wait minute or two to be able to work again. Virtual machine crashes if its set to Always ready in the background with enabled Camera and Microphone. Many times the Finder needs to be restarted, which is also annoying when I have many tabs open… With the versions I have noted above, has anyone experienced any problems if I install Mojave. Version 10.13.5 and Parallels, version 13.3.2 Will probably purchase Parallels 14 in the near future, but would like to update to Mojave now. Sometimes the TouchBar hangs too, sometimes not. My apps, including Safari, Friendly Streaming and bunch of other Apple- and non- Apple devices, even Finder randomly crash to the point I have to hard-reset the Mac. Here's what is happening: about 5 of the time, about 3-5 seconds after I close the cover of my Core 2 Dup MacBook Pro, I hear the startup chime, and if I open the cover, OSX is rebooting. I got myself a MacBook Pro 13” M1 end of last year, because till now I was always happy with Apple products, they never seemed to disappoint me - my iMac from three years ago and MacBook Air from 6 works just fine, but I’m starting to slowly regret jumping on the M1 bandwagon so fast. I'm having a weird problem with my MacBook Pro, and it may be caused by Parallels, but I'm not 100 sure.
